OUR TEACHING APPROACH:
In class, we give kids choices (gets them talking), teach them songs with movement (aids memory) about stuff they do every day (encourages practice).
We conduct class mostly in Spanish using language that is simple and relevant. Instructors are native speakers so young people learn from authentic voices. Caregivers learn, too.

CLASS STRUCTURE:
10 minutes: Welcome Time
Many children need time to explore before they can sit at circle. Please try to arrive on time.
40 minutes: Circle Sing
We’ll sing songs written for Sing-a-Lingo. They’re all in Spanish. Each tune has a way to engage your child (movement, books, visuals).
Your enthusiasm/participation are important, so get ready to SING! (No solos, we promise!)
10 minutes: Goodbye Song and wrap up
Our songs are relevant to kids’ routines, and participants have found them sticky enough to sing at home. You’ll receive a CD with songs, and handouts with expanded vocabulary for each topic. Do as much or as little "homework" as you like.
